In 1992 I adopted a standard poodle from an animal shelter. Although certainly not show quality she was wonderful and quickly became an important member of my family. In January of 1994 after attending several AKC dog shows and speaking with a few breeders I decided to purchase a standard poodle for show.
Vic-Tori standard poodles is a small family kennel located in central Missouri. All of my dogs live in my home (not in the basement actually in my home) and are considered members of the family. I would not have it any other way.

I only occasionally have a litter. The key pieces to my breeding philosophy are as follows. I breed for Temperament, Type, Structure, Health and last but certainly not least, beauty. As a member of Heart of America Poodle Club, Inc and a member of the Puget Sound Poodle Club, I am totally commited to breeding the best and hold fast the breed standard as set by the Poodle Club of America. None of my dogs are bred before genetic testing for anomalies are complete. Vic-Tori puppies come into the world inside my home and receive tons of love, and attention right from the start. My puppies go to their new homes happy, healthy and full of self-esteem.
